Where are we located?

Our headquarters are in Uruguay, with a remote team based in Argentina and Colombia.
What time zone do we operate in?

We typically work in U.S. Eastern Time (EST) but are flexible to match your time zone. Operating in UTC-3 lets us cover both U.S. and Latin American clients well, while also staying aligned with European needs. For example, we have overlapping hours with our largest client in Los Angeles :)

Can Effectus sign my NDA rather than a standard one?

Yes. We're open to signing custom client NDAs and also have our own available if needed.
Do we have an American company?

Yes, we do. We have an LLC registered in Delaware.
Can we help you define the scope and requirements for your product?

Absolutely! We'll assist you in defining the project scope during both the first assessment process and product inception.
How soon can Effectus start your project?

Once we agree on the project scope and timeline, we sign the contract, and we will schedule a kick-off call. On our end, we are ready to put your team together.
Is it possible to change the initial plan if your preferences (budget, timeline, features, etc.) shift?

Yes, our experience has taught us the flexibility required to adjust priorities as needed. While planning is necessary, we recognize that requirements can change. We are ready to iterate and create a revised plan.
Do we work with Agile Methodologies?

Yes, we do; our entire team is experienced in Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and XP. Additionally, the whole team holds a Scrum Master Certificate.
You've already built your product with another vendor, but you now need changes. Do we work with legacy systems?

Yes, we begin with a code review to assess the quality of your existing codebase. This helps us identify weaknesses, explore potential new features and expansion opportunities, and create a plan to move forward. Our Design team will evaluate your product if you're considering a redesign.
